Original cottage is stone walled, extended in 1920 with solid wall brick/rendered, extended again in 1990 with cavity wall insulation. Double glazing. State-of-the-art biomass (Winhager BioWinExidusiv) 15Kw central heating boiler with Vaillant solar thermal panels in roof valley – 250L hot water tank. External 4 tonne steel pellet hopper contained within purpose built larch shed with auto vacuum feed to boiler.

Directions: Turning for Ashleigh Lane is on the first on the right off B4632 half a mile beyond Southam (after passing notice “Cleeve Hill”). Proceed up steep lane for 100 yards. Farther Pitts is on the right with a timber garage. Parking is limited. Those preferring a brisk up-hill walk can park in lay-by on B4632 and walk up the hill (about 5 minutes)
